Every time I see this lj account, I just feel the need to update it. Here goes:

Yes! It's finally here! A well deserved three-week break is at hand.
Days in the Ateneo have just been stressful and this break is very much needed. To start it on the right foot, the block will be going to EK. Daaamn. I haven't been there in ages. It looks antiquated the last time I went there. haha. Anyway, hoping for a great day tomorrow- not too sunny, but no rain please.

Getting some shut-eye after this.. well.. maybe now.

Temper Trap- Science of Fear

Arrived from Subic just now. Honestly there was nothing much to see there. I didn't know what was the big deal.

Anyway, just a while ago, I was thinking where I will be living during college. My choices are my house in Makati or my grandparents' place in QC. My grands' place will be more convenient since I'm going to Ateneo. But I'm really gonna miss my family in my Makati home. It's lonely in lolo's house eh. It's big, but only lolo and lola are there. And what makes it harder to choose is that my friends will be living either in QC or in the Makati area. Big problem kung saan mag-hangout during weekdays. haha. wow. whattadilemma. But that really matters to me you know, being in close touch with my friends. Daamn. I gotta decide soon.

Bora was such a great experience. The beach, the activities, and most especially the presence of great friends make the experience more memorable. Five days were too short, though. This experience truly needs a follow up. I will never forget that last night where everyone felt so senti about college and stuff. But I hope that all those "college assumptions" will fade away; we shall prove our theories wrong. GREAT FIVE DAYS, INDEED.

Today was awesome as well. I watched Shutter Island with my bros. Shutter Island was a great movie, although it was really heavy. Went around a bit and had a late dinner at Wendy's. Missed these guys sobra. Taena bros, kailangan talaga umulit!

This blog is pretty messed up, since it was long na since I last made an entry. But I'll update from time to time- to entertain you and to keep my mind from rusting.

Subic tomorrow, Banaue in two days, and Seoul in 11 days. EXCITING!

Remy Zero- Fair

We celebrated the LAST Christmas party of our high school lives a while ago!
And yeah, I felt sentimental; I got mushy.

I am certainly going to miss my high school friends. 4D shall remain in me wherever the road takes me. They've certainly been an inspiration to keep going even if life gets tough.

Enough with the cheesy stuff, for there are still tests the coming days. Hope that everyone does well. AVATAR on saturday YIPEE!

Empire State Of Mind- Jay-Z Feat. Alicia Keys

Today is one of those okay days. Nothing extraordinary. Same old, same old. It was my usual Monday.
Probably the best thing that happened today was the COCC Christmas party. The simple agape made me realize that high school's end is fast approaching. SO FAST even that I've been thinking college more than ever. WELL, I actually think about college at a daily basis, but this thinking seemed different from the others.

I really wanna pass my preferred universities, especially Ateneo and UP. In less than a month, my fate will be decided upon (actually my fate has been decided, to be announced is the more appropriate fragment).

I remember being aboard the bus with my Soutville-mates, (talk about jumping thoughts, but they're related I tell you.) and I remembered us talking about the JTA of Ateneo. This is actually one of the prime reasons why Ateneo trumps over UP for me. It was exciting to actually consider that I and my high school peers will get back together for Junior year to take up studies abroad. VERY EXCITING in fact, that the thought of it gives me an intellectual orgasm. And because of that excitement, I decided to look it up today. AND YEAH, it's something that I'd really want to be a part of. PLEASE LORD, PLEASE. I do hope that my parents allow the expenses that will be entailed with this excursion.

HEAVY college thoughts have got to stop circling my mind. It's becoming a burden, really. Just gimme the results already, demmet.

On a lighter note, it's 11 days 'til Christmas!

Wow. I'm actually blogging in my LJ account again.
Why?
The title seems to answer the question.

I just noticed that five posts prior to this one is a post dated October 23, 2008. That's more than a year ago. And it was UP and Ateneo being conflicting points of interest. I didn't know that THE DAY is coming really soon. The results for the three universities I applied too will be released in less than a month.

WOW. Time really flies by so fast. Thinking about college seemed just like yesterday, and now, it's just a stone's throw away. Before I know it, seniority will be over, and back to being a freshie I go.

No matter what happens though, I just hope that all will be okay. That I would learn to accept whatever comes my way.
But Lord, please do give me all three. PLEASE.

July 5, 2008- Summer
The Junior Council Executive Board had their ocular at different hotels in the Metro. Their first stop was the Makati Shangri-La Hotel. Love at first sight. They knew that the hotel was perfect and they knew that their batch mates would love to have their promenade there. Due to the tight sched of Rizal Ballroom, the council had to look at other options such as the Manila Peninsula and the Sofitel Philippine Plaza.

School Days
Weeks after their ocular, the council received a call from Makati Shang confirminng their booking on the 7th of February. It was perfect. Upon knowing this, they immediately got to work in making their prom the best prom possible.

Fast Forward to February 7, 2009
Pre-Prom work at the hotel. The council was surprised with the beautiful transformation of the Rizal ballroom into a Hollywood-themed venue. The Juniors partied and had fun but felt like time flew by so fast. Like they say, time flies fast when you're having fun. After the prom, everyone went to different after-prom parties. but what was truly important was that they spent the night as a batch together in those 6 hours of laughter and merrymaking.

The JUNIOR COUNCIL EXECUTIVE BOARD would like to thank everyone for making the promenade a success.

It's one of those days again..

I've been thinking (and dreaming) about it over and over again. I've even looked into people's multiply accounts just to see what it feels like to be in either of those schools.

So.. Ateneo or UP? Well that's the question I have to answer if I at least get into any of them.
